Joshua’s Tree National Park
Yesterday we took the 2 1/2 hour drive inland from Los Angeles to our new Airbnb in Desert Hot Springs. We were told to pick up the keys from the apartments partner hotel, the Aqua Soleil Hotel and mineral spa, which was a short 2 min drive from the apartment. We are allowed to use the hotel facilities so decided to quickly drop our bags at our new home and come back for the afternoon. Continue reading
The day we fell in love with LA!
Today whilst America was busy voting in their new president we decided to hire bicycles and cycle our way along the coast.
We hired two adult bikes one with a pull along bike for Daisy and a children’s bike for Molly from hermosa cycles shop. We’d packed some homemade lunch and set off in the warm Californian sun. Continue reading
A few days in LA!
We arrived in crazy Los Angeles late Saturday evening, after a slow crawl in on the freeway!
We moved into our new Airbnb home in the Redondo Beach area, a eucalyptus tree lined residential area close to the beach. All very spiritual and hippy, but very family friendly.
